Fishing Trip!!!

I got up at 5:00 am and went with Barry and a friend from our life group at church. His name is Jim, but don't get him confused with the other Jim. We went to 10 different locations for fish, but it was a VERY slow!!! Usually Jim catches 10 - 15 fish and Barry catches 3 - 5 fish, but not today. Jim only got 5 fish and Barry got 1. Sorry, but all I caught was a minnow and I put it back. I still had fun though. We went to the hatchery and saw TONS of fish. some were even 15 lbs!!! It is just too bad that it was illegal to fish in the hatchery!!! LOL!!! Some times people that work in the hatchery release fish into a lake, but no one could figure out where they took the fish. Every where we went there was no bites. But we also saw a beautiful waterfall as we were going around and looking for a "good" spot to fish. On are way to one stop we made Jim stop so Barry and I could take a picture of the mountains. They were just beautiful!!! It was a lot of fun even though I didn't caught any fish!!!

Quick Post

Sorry I have not been posting lately, but I have been soooo busy!!! Barry and I hung Christmas lights on Thursday and decorated the tree. I know it is a little late, but that is ok. Barry bought a WII game system and we have been playing it a lot the past two days. Our church put on a Christmas dinner for the less fortunate today. I made 60 brownies and helped Barry make a couple hundred chocolate chip cookies!!! We were up until midnight fixing them last night. We served about 80 people which was twice as many as last year. Mom said she had a lot of shopping to do and didn't come. Barry drove me and helped with the dinner. It was a lot of fun!!! Sorry there was no pictures today. The digital camera was died. Pastor Josh took some pictures of the dinner and may put some on his blog. Here is the link

Just For Janice

Aunt Lisa and Uncle Jim kept telling me that you wanted me to post more on the blog about Gracie. So I will. She is now 3 pounds and 12 ounces (I know what you are thinking; She is so BIG! LOL!!!). When we got her she was 1 pound so she has grown a lot!!! Gracie already has her first title CGC (Canine Good Citizen). So she is now Vanderville's Carolina Grace, CGC. Yeah I know it is a long title for such a small dog, but Lisa came up with the name and it was prefect!!! In January I plan to take her to the show. She has been doing VERY well in her class and Jane said I was ready to enter Gracie. I will let you know how the show goes. The pictures will show Gracie as she has grown up!!!

To Long!!!

It has been way to long since I last posted!!! I will start off by saying I had a wonderful birthday. I had a birthday Slumber Party. I designed the cake on paint and gave mom a copy of it. I had four of my friends spend the night. We watched Monster House, Clue, and Ichabod and Mr. Toad. My favorite gift was my Video MP3 player. Are computer will not read the disc and I have not been able to download any music on it. When Barry comes home he can show me how to download the software off the computer. Volleyball season ended Oct. 25. I miss playing the sport, but I sure don't miss having Coach Solla yelling at us all the time. I still have not decided whether or not I am going to try out next year. I did enjoy playing in all, but on game days it was almost impossible to get all of my homework done. Also Gracie has passed her CGC test. Now she is Vaudeville's Carolina Grace CGC!!!!!! It is very exciting. I have re-entered Gracie in a rally class, and I plan to take her to the January Show. Well, I suppose that is enough for now. Can't wait till Thanksgiving when I get to see every one!!!

Braces & Happy Birthday...

I went and got my braces tightened on the first. They gave me a tighter spring to open up a larger spot for my tooth, but that was it. My teeth were not very sore and I didn't have to have a day where I just ate soup. The fourth was Gracie's birthday!!! She is a whole year old now!!! I made her some birthday cupcakes and gave her three presents. Mom also got her three gifts. Surprisingly Dad even gave Gracie one present!!! She thoroughly enjoyed her birthday and was nice enough to share a cupcake with Charlie and Kellie!!!
P.S. We lost both of our games this week and last week. :(

Volleyball Again

We played two more games this week. We played Dacusville away and West Oak home. This week the team was very unfocused and we lost both games. However it wasn't a total lost because the Coach noticed that my serving had improved even more and that I was playing very well. (Compared to every one else it was pretty obvious when almost every one was messing up) She gave me a starting position. I was one of the starters in the game against West Oak, and I will be starting the game against McCants. I am still a little nervous about that game because I know at least one of the volleyball players over there, but I am sure we can still win.

Game Day

Sorry there isn't any pictures. I just don't have time to wait for them to load. Anyways, the first game was a home game against Liberty Middle. Unfortunately we lost the first game. We all got to play in the game some and it was still really fun. The second game was an away game against Getty's. We had to take a bus there. The first bus we were on would not shift gears. Then we had to switch to a different bus that was working properly. We won the game against Getty's, but not everyone got to play. I got to play more in the second game, but when I went to serve I though the ref hadn't told me it was okay to serve and then at the last second I slowed my arm down. Needless to say the serve was ten feet from going over the net. During the game Norma went up to the net to spike the ball and fell on her hip. They had to take her to the Memorial Greenville Hospital. She is currently in a lot of pain and will not be allowed to play the rest of the season. She was one of the team's key players, but we will have to do with out her. During practice on Thursday we played the serving game. You serve the ball, and if it is a good serve you get back in line, but if not then you run laps until the game is over. The couches decided to play. At toward the end it was just me and Couch Solla. She missed a serve, but I got mine in. I probably served about thirty good balls. I am pretty proud of my serving arm. It has come a long way since the start of the season.

Blitz

Mom finally let me get a guinea pig. He is one pound two ounces. His name was orignally Oreo, but we had to change it. So for a while we couldn't think of any good names, but then I though of the Blitz. It fits with him. This Monday (Sept. 8th) in the first volleyball game of the season!!! I hope we win. We are palying against Liberty Middle. The game will be played at Southwood. Yeah!!! I wanted the first game to be a home one anyways. Tuesday is our second game and it will be played at Gettys. So in the first week we will play one home game and one away game. I will try to get Mom to take some good pictures.

That Time Again

That's right!!! You guessed it!!! Bath Day!!! Every one loves bath day (or maybe just charlie does). Tell me if you think she likes bath day based on the pictures. Things have been pretty slow around here today. I got up at eight and then had some left over pizza for breakfast. Then Mom and I watched the news until nine. They were talking about a balloon that crashed in the trees in Anderson. We thought it was the blue balloon that was hasing some probalems yesterday, but the one on the news was red and yellow. Then Dr.Phil came on and I had to watch it. It was a new one. Well I guess that it all. Like I said thing have been really slow.

Cytokensis!!!

Cytokensis is the Guinea Pig in Mr. Franklin's class. He is a class pet. I got to take him home this weekend!!! I am really lucky to have such a nice bus driver. Mr. Banks (the bus driver) let me carry Cytokensis home the the bus in a container. The reason his name is Cytokensis is because that is Mr. Franklin's favorite science word just because it sound funny. Mom is thinking about letting me get a Guinea Pig that will stay at our house house permanently. If I get a Guinea Pig to keep we will have to buy a cage for it, but we can get the Guinea Pig for free from my friend Ashley. She got her two Guinea Pigs from Pet Depot when they were buy two get a free cage, and well the Guinea Pigs kept having babies. Now Ashley has eight and doesn't want any of them. So if mom agrees then I will get one from Ashley. (That is how Mr. Franklin got his for the classroom).

Braces

It is the moment you have all been waiting for... finally got my braces put on. I got to miss most of the day today. I went in at about 12:10. Then I had volleyball practice till 5:30 and I still have to do my homework. Getting the spacers taken out would not have been so bad if the girl taking them out had not dropped one of them down into my throat. Then I was trying to cough the spacer up while she was counting and wondering why there was one missing. By the time she said she was missing one I had already coughed it up and was holding it on the tip of my tongue. Then when I was trying on different brackets she was pushing really hard on one and then said I think that one is to small, but goes on pushing before she come to the conclusion (again) that it is to small. The braces don't look to bad on me though. I had lots of people telling me that the braces fit with me some how. I said it was probably because I have freckles and the braces match my freckles.
